Andre MARTIN is a French-American actor, best known for his stage work in classical Theatre. Andre was born in Urbana, IL. on September 29, 1979 to an American mother and French father. His childhood was split between living in Chicago and the south of France, where he garnered his love and appreciation for languages. After passing the French Baccalaureat, Andre attended McGill University in Montreal, Canada where he began taking acting classes and appeared in dozens of professional plays, films, and commercials, mostly in English, but some in French, German, and Italian. Subsequently, he spent some time studying at the University of Wisconsin which eventually led him to the University of Delaware where he received his MFA in Acting from the Professional Theatre Training Program. Andre currently lives in Los Angeles and can be seen every summer performing Shakespeare with the Independent Shakespeare Company in Griffith Park. He has been praised for his versatility as an actor, and for straddling the line between leading man and character actor.
