Photographer with a BFA in Photography.
Recently moved back from Chicago, and am currently employed as a photographer/retoucher at the largest studio in the city of Minneapolis. We are always looking for more subjects to expand our book.
I'm classically trained in the art of Photography and I'm only interested in creating something quality, artistic and professional.

Honest words: Many of you on this website have dreams of being models and attempt to model, but unfortunately don't fit the mold. I've worked with my fair share of industry professionals and can tell you this:

-Clear, HYDRATED skin is a must especially for beauty. No amount of photoshop can mimic the luminosity of beautiful skin.

- If you are under 5'7 as a woman or 5'10 as a man, modeling full body clothing is a near-impossible option.

-Modeling is all in the face and eyes (even if your face isn't clearly in the shot). Let your body feel the emotion you project in your face. I see a lot of "model" poses on here that make the subjects look incredibly uncomfortable. I guarantee that those photos will never be taken seriously by any knowledgeable professional.

- DO YOUR RESEARCH. Study models and fashion photographers of today AND the past. The next time you're at Barnes & Noble, pick up a copy of an INTERNATIONAL fashion magazine and study the art and attitude...both of which must come from within.

Not to discourage anyone, but true models are rare (even full figure). Taking good care of yourself is always a must, but a lot of the ingredients that make up a model come from DNA.
