CHECK OUT MY MYSPACE PAGE FOR TONS MORE WORK:
UPDATE AS OF JANUARY 2011:
New to Austin and love it so far! I'm still finding my bearings and learning the city so bear with me. My name is Alex. I would say that my style leans heavily towards the 60's, 50's, 40’s, 30’s, and 20's. I am moderatly tattooed and continue to add new work frequently. If you need details please don't be shy.
I'm interested in working with a variety of photographers that can appreciate that I'm not 5'9" and 95 pounds (I’m a real woman…and yes, I have curves like we were all given and look MUCH better with), that I don't have more chest than I know what to do with, and my skin is as white as snow - not a deep bronze. Like I said, I do have a vintage style BUT I would like to have an extensive portfolio. I WILL NOT do nude shoots. I am willing to pull off implied nudity (which is by far sexier anyway – “Class has ass, too!” Ha!), but other than that, please don’t ask for full on nude. It's not going to happen. Ever.
To me, photography is an art and the model just a subject. Photography can be a great opportunity to be part of something that is going to out-live you and it's very important to understand that and appreciate the art that you are helping to create! I
Most of the time, I'm really sarcastic and nerdy. I like to have a good time and try to enjoy life to the fullest! I have worked with different photographers who I’m sure will say the same. I always come to a shoot ready to go and I appreciate it when the photographers are as well. Let’s face it: Time is a precious commodity and none of us seem to have enough of it. I prefer to shoot on the weekends due to my work schedule (Monday – Friday 8am-5pm). I would rather work on a day that I don’t have to be in the office the next so I can give you my full attention rather than rush through a shoot and watching the clock the whole time. HOWEVER, I am willing to make exceptions.
I will be having an escort with me to any and all photo shoots. This is not up for debate.
Drop me a note if you have any advice, critiques, or you think we can work together! I’m always glad to make new friends and learn a thing or two. I appreciate all the photographers that have taken the time to work with me and I would love to work with you all again! I have some ideas in my head that I would like to put into action so if you’re interested you can hit me up here OR at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Thanks for stopping in!
Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn't do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.
