About me
HELLO!
Irvin here. I am here to connect with fellow creatives like you.
I love art and trust me, I would really love to take your pictures!
Check out my works at www.graphicsmetropolis.com
Want to do any project with me?
See if you like my style and feel free to send me a message.
Rates are available upon request. You can quickly reach me by email: hello (at) graphicsmetropolis (dot) com.
Do I accept Trade For Print shoots (TFP/TFCD)?
YES.
Why?
It's my way of giving back to the community of creatives who has helped me build my portfolio. It's always fun to create a personal project with a whole team of creative individuals fueled by their passion for art.
So how do I get to shoot you for TFP/TFCD?
Couple of ways.
1. You receive a message from me because either I like your looks and your book or I see a lot of potential in you.
2. You sent me a message with a very good project pitch that can benefit our portfolios
3. You win at the monthly draw of the GRAPHICS METROPOLIS FEATURE PROJECT.
What the heck is this GRAPHICS METROPOLIS FEATURE PROJECT?
Well, as a form of giving back, I will pick one creative (MODEL/HAIRSTYLIST/MAKE-UP ARTIST/WARDROBE DESIGNER/WARDROBE STYLIST) to be part of my team for either a Headshot shoot, a Fashion Editorial shoot, or a total Portrait session.
How do you get picked?
Simple. Just follow these 4 simple steps.
1. Add Graphics Metropolis on facebook. www.facebook.com/thegraphicsmetropolis
2. Like Graphics Metropolis on facebook. www.facebook.com/graphicsmetro
3. Post on the wall and state why you should be the next featured creative at Graphics Metropolis. What sets you apart from the rest?
4. Follow Graphics Metropolis on twitter. www.twitter.com/graphicsmetro
Send me a tweet and use the hashtag #graphicsmetro
Before the month ends, me and my team will pick the top qualifiers for a week-long voting process on facebook.
Judging criteria:
50% will be based from the facebook votes (Number of likes)
50% will be based from the votes and discretion of my team.
The winner will then be notified via MM, fb or on any portal and will be the featured Creative for the following month. Yay!
I operate under the working principle and value of RESPECT.
Respect to fellow artists and creatives is one of my top priorities in the business.
When we agree to do a collaborative project together, TFP/TFCD and the likes, treat it as a group effort, a team work, and never ever give the air of arrogance as if any of the team members owe you anything. Everyone brought something to the table.
Each part of the team invests something for the success of the project
Just consider this: Each one involved in any project invests on their time, creativity and unique artistic talent to execute a successful output.
(MUAs and Hair stylists investing and sharing their kits and equipment, Photographer investing on their equipment and creative direction, Assistants sharing their time and effort, designers lending their clothes, stylists showcasing their creative vision and talents, models investing on their looks and talents)
Arrogance just puts me off.
If our team did a TFP/TFCD shoot, never complain much.
A one liner "Thank You" and credit to the whole team would suffice.
Rules: Good clean lists only please.
