Hello my name is James Balsamo I work as a freelance make up artist. I specialize in horror movie make up. fake wounds, monster make up, life casts and so on. I also shoot independent films. I just came out with a movie called "Hack Job" it's a Horror/Comedy that features Dave Brockie, Lynn Lowry, Lloyd Kaufman, Debbie Rochon, and Oderus Urungus from the band GWAR. Hack Job has been featured in "Fangoria" and "Horrorhound" magazine. I also have another project coming out this year. "Bloody Christmas" which features Geretta Geretta(Demons), John William Young(RoadHouse) and Mary Arden(Blood and Black lace). Along with producing that project, I also did the FX for it, and act in the movie. My new project "I Spill Your Guts" is a horror/thriller that will be in stores in July. The Film features Frank Mullen from Suffocation, Andrew W.K., Debbie Rochon, Lloyd Kaufman, Lynn Lowry, Gwar, and The Meatmen.
