1999 stonemason 2003-2009 studied painting at the art academy Karlsruhe / Germany moved to London in August 2010 currently living and working in Berlin With the simple tools of light, shade and material effect i take photographs on a self-timer and transform the subjects by means of the technically and energetically time-consuming painting into pictures of an almost sacred mood. Actions, relations and events as well as objects and attributes become arbitrarily commutable and yet all speak of comprehensible human situations and expectations.
