Semi-regular trips to Los Angeles and Chicago, and yearly excursions abroad. If I’m not coming to your city in the near future, please contact me. I am always open to traveling to smaller cities/towns if there is work in the area, of if I'm traveling nearby.

My name is Samantha Ylva Beasley and I am an experienced, full-time freelance art model. When I'm not creating my own art, I'm aiding in other's creation. This is my passion.
For the majority of my life I have been the one behind the lens or canvas. I started my sojourn into the world of modeling fueled with a sense of adventure and artistic idealism, and inspired by many of the legendary muses of art that came before me (e.g. Kiki de Montparnasse, Elizabeth Siddal, Lee Miller, Dora Maar, Jeanne Hébuterne, Gala Dalí).
My home base is in Portland, Oregon. It is there where I create and co-exist with my husband, photographer James Wigger. If you're interested in booking me, please send a private message.

Artistic Background: I have been modeling professionally since 2010, and have a large amount of experience as a figure model and fine art photography model. I also have a background in ballet, and besides being a photographer myself (large format), I also dabble in writing, drawing, and music.
Personality: I am a friendly, hard-working and upbeat model that loves and respects her job and maintains a healthy sense of humor. I am dedicated and will never flake out or no-show. I love forming working relationships with artists, and I value each collaboration’s artistic integrity. I also strongly believe my own personal endeavors in art give me a better understanding of the needs and visions of the artists I work with.
Focus & Limits: My area of expertise as a model is fine art and art nudes. However, I am experienced in other styles as well & I always enjoy stretching myself and trying something new. Much of my work includes some degree of eroticism, but I will not shoot anything explicitly pornographic or hardcore bdsm. Also, please don't ask me to get in ice-cold waterfalls, rivers or oceans. I've become sick way too many times because of this.
Compensation: $100/hr, $350/half day, $650/full day.
My rates are negotiable and I’m happy to work within your budget. Highly selective TF with fine art photographers I admire or guaranteed tear sheets. I will consider trade for high quality vintage (pre-1970’s) clothing and lingerie, 4x5 or 8x10 film, lodging, or plane tickets. For figure modeling and life studies, I ask for standard art model rates.
Modifications & Marks: I have pierced ears, and no tattoos or noticeable scars. I have significantly long hair that I'm growing down to my waist, and also trimmed pubic hair.
Hair/Makeup & Wardrobe: I do my own hair and makeup for the majority of my shoots. Of course, I'd be more than willing to work with any provided MUA. I also have a small, but eclectic wardrobe that I can work with you to select pieces from for a shoot. When I travel I typically only bring what I can carry on my back, so if your shoot requires a specific article of clothing this must be discussed in advance.
