I have been asked to host/teach a couple basic lighting classes for a couple local groups in October. Both groups are more than willing to have visitors at their meetings, just please contact the meeting organizers before you attend. Both classes will be held at my studio in Racine. I will be demonstrating a few lighting techniques on a model or two (or three or four, depending on the size of the group) and then the photographers will get the chance to practice those techniques themselves.
I will be needing models for both of these classes (paid job!)

Well, we are good to go.. Floor is all done, walls are going up today, lights are set up (more lights on the way), and the place is ready for use. Models.. want to shoot? Let me know! Photographers, want to try the place out? C.mon down!

Hey everyone! Well, Kevin and I finally signed the lease on our new studio (located on the north side of Racine), and we're gonna start moving our equipment in Saturday and Sunday afternoon. Nothing in there right now but four walls, but we're hoping to change that soon.
If you'd like to come check the place out and socialize, you are more than welcome. We'll also be setting up stands, tables, etc, etc, etc. Feel free to bring your gear and make few pictures if you like. Since it is likely to be pretty warm, I'll have a cooler full of soda and water, and I may order a pizza or two as well.
