To me, fashion is a challenge. It's a medium to break cultural norms and stereotypes, and force people to think of something new. It's the Hugo Boss suit with yellow sneakers, or the Jimmy Choo shoes with torn, bright red jeans. It's a stage in which we can bend what society considers "normal" to create something fresh and ingenius.
I believe the greatest fashion ideas come from local designers and thrift stores, not the bougie retail stores (nothing against them). I believe in the young models, MUA's, and entrepreneurs who storm into the industry looking to shake the entire world of fashion. I believe that inexperience can often be an asset, not a liability. I believe in coming with something radically different, or else, why even bother?
