I am a professionally trained portrait artist. Have studied at
the N.E. Institute of Professional Photography and have earned more than enough merits for my Masters Degree through PPA. Earned Photographer of the Year honor by PPA in 2004.
My raison d'etre is to produce art. Got bitten very hard by the "Shutterbug" in 1993 and have been devoted to various forms of photography since then.
I am willing to do selective TFCD with up and coming models. I'd also be very happy to work with young models who need a professional looking portfolio. Can assist with posing and wardrobe selection.
I am willing to do most communications via e-mail, but must insist on having a phone number in the event I need to get ahold of you last minute. I also require a phone call from models confirming the session prior to shooting.
I fully understand and appreciate that a photo session is a collaboration between photographer and model and I encourage you to come fully prepared to add your touch and style to the session. Although I show a lot of artistic nude images in my portfolio, I am equally adept at producing classic headshots as well as fashion related images. No model will ever be asked or pressured into doing anything outside of her comfort level. As model, you set the limits and parameters of all shoots.
While I do allow and actually encourage that you bring an escort or friend, they will not be allowed to be in the studio during the shoot. The changing room/den is adjacent to the studio where your friend may enjoy themself watching television or just hanging out. I do have a wireless network so they may access the internet while we shoot.
When I hire a model, the clock starts when we begin to shoot unless otherwise discussed beforehand. All art that is produced is for my personal portfolio. I am not engaged in any commercial enterprises with regards to this work.
