David Robin Munn

With a strong knowledge of art, music, fashion and photography; David has been pushing the envelope of modern hairdressing since 1990. His work has been featured in such magazines such as; Behind The Chair, Modern Salon, The Colorist, Hair, Hair Now, Elle and many more. His television appearances and contributions include; CNN, Turner, CBS, MSNBC, NBC and TLC. In 1998 David was named "Education Ambassador" for the world's second largest hair color company. This led to extensive international speaking appearances. David has also worked to create signature looks for major salons in Boston, New York and Atlanta.
In 2001 David joined the Van Michael Salon team as "Artistic Director" for hair color. Since then, he has represented Van Michael and Aveda on stage at major educational events and workshops around the United States and abroad.  As well as teaching, he maintains a full book of clients at Van Michael's flagship salon in Atlanta, Georgia.
David's personal commitment to excellence by creating signature looks for each client keeps him in heavy demand. His creative approach to hair color has also earned him a nomination for the North American Hair Colorist of the year award.
