Focusing mainly on alternative, edgy, high glam, industrial, punk shooting. I've done my trials in the photography scene and have learned from my own experiences that its just not fun unless your heart is in it and your doing what you like with the people you like working with. This being said, their are hundreds of photographers in Chicago that focus on your average portfolio catalog Sears look.....I'm not that guy, and although I could fake it- I have come to the conclusion that its the stuff that bores me and the other people can have it. If on the other hand you want something different in your portfolio to go along with all that fluff, then let me know.

FAQ
1. I do very select TFP, only because I have very limited time off now with a day job that is very shifty from week to week with my days off. Also because I don't shoot people that have nothing to offer my portfolio, want new myspace photos, or are going to waste my time and never show up at the shoot. There are some exceptions and if I consider you one of them I will let you know my TFP rules, if not then understand that this is my freelance job and I cannot afford to do it for free.

2. I have no issues with bringing someone to the shoot, there are many creepy photographers out there and I understand not trusting the nice ones. I only ask that they understand that you are there to work and not converse with them during doing so.

3. I like to have fun, be creative at a moments notice, and do things as they come to me- I prefer working with the model during the shoot rather then using them as a prop for the finished photo. Come with ideas and be prepared to maybe do things that normal studio backdrop photographers don't think of.

4. I require a model release to be signed for anyone, band, group, etc before shooting. Don't sign it and we don't shoot- and you've just wasted both of our time.

5. I'm always open to try new things, I just prefer them to be different from the norm. Please don't be offended if all you want is headshots or photos of your store and I instead offer more then that, its what I do.

I currently live in the Chicago area and do not have a car so public transit is it, please feel free to request me to come to your city though as I am planning tour shoots to various cities once I have enough booking to cover airfare and time off work.
