I've been modeling since the age of 18 and still very open to that artistic expression, but my real passions lie in Acting, Screen Play Writing, Poetry, Stage Performance and Film Production.

My first Short Film ("Life By Numbers" produced through my Performing Arts Troupe - Bohemian Soul Revival) made successful premiers in Chicago and Montreal, with much more to come.

Jamie Astrid’s very existence is a literal duality; the rough exterior of a menacing jungle cat before its kill, the supple interior of an artisan, humanitarian and intellect whose care for humankind sits limitlessly atop his priorities.

Jamie’s fascination with words dates to his childhood when he realized the power a well-constructed passage can have on its readers. Compelling them to emote; forcing them to act.

His philosophy on life, although as complex, intricate, passionate and riddled with mystery as the man is himself, can be summarized by the title of his first published poem…
