Stefanie Pollock

My name is Stefanie Leanne Pollock, and I am a 29 year old freelance photographer!  My education and work background as an Ecologist was what first got me interested in photography, and now taking pictures is all I want to do.  I have found that I have become more and more interested in taking pictures of people in nature, and using the outdoors as my main inspiration and backdrop.  This passion has continued to evolve into taking pictures of people in city-scapes, grungy buildings, etc.  I am very much interested in developing and progressing as a more fine arts and editorial photographer - breaking out of the typical ‘portrait photographer’ and doing something a little different (doesn't everybody?).  All in all I have been taking pictures for about 2 years now, and have begun taking more pictures of people within the last 8 months.
