The bulk of my photography over the years has been mostly static subjects. Planes, cars, trucks, trains and most things involving nature or landscapes. My favorite has always been old buildings, especially industrial and urban decay. But something was missing from the mix, and that was creative portrait photography.
With a little push from friends and family who have admired my work over the years, I recently tried my hand at basic portrait photography. As much as I have learned recently, I can see how much there is still to learn. One lifetime isn't enough to learn it all, but certainly to develop a focused body of work. Already I feel myself moving in a certain direction when it comes to style, though still broadly focused.
