My name is Jason. I am from Pennsylvania...... European backgrounds but just a American boy. I got into modeling when I was approached by a "school" HA. So I took the school and in the school one of the teachers told me to visit New York and to sign with Wilhelmina. After the school was over me and my mom started to send pictures out to all of the agencies also put my portfolio up online. I was contacted by a lot of agencies at the start so I waited to see who else would contact me. At the time I saw that FORD models was a top agency so figured what the hell. I sent them my Polaroids and waited. I felt there was something wrong with the online application so I sent them a few emails thinking they weren't getting my photos. Laaaaaaater on that day I was called by a random number and sure enough it was Blake from Ford asking me if i could come up and check the agency out. Me and my mom were thrilled and we drove up the next couple of days. We checked the agency out and signed a contract. To my surprise they told me to stay home workout and use proactive hahaha. So I did for a good while (about six months) then saw them again and they wanted me to stay in there model apartments. Sooooooo i did for about three months (due to lack of exercise i was sent home). Eventually I got a job from a friend in NY and moved up the same day as my job started and got a place in Harlem. Months of castings and shoots (no big campaign break) went by. I was told I took good pictures and was friendly person. I shot Nylon, V, WWD, and lots of editorials but apparently i wasn't making enough money for the agency and they dropped me a few months back. The board told me we like you but its business and I understood. Not making money agency doesn't want you. Thats my modeling story so far hopefully with this site it can be better and bigger. My goals is to be a accomplished well known model and eventually settle down have a family and all that jazz. I want to meet photographers who will want to scratch my back as i scratch theres and possibly land some nice jobs. I think emailing me would be best [email protected].
