Full-time self-employed Professional Photographer.
I started in photography a few years ago and have been, thankfully, going strong enough since. I do both personal and commercial work. The majority of my working life is made up of family portraits and related sessions (newborn babies, etc.) and event coverage (again, both personal and commercial).
In my spare time, I like to try and work on things I don't generally do during my working time. I have a fondness for portraiture and I'm always interested in trying new things (be they location, posing or lighting).
I adore flash lighting and use it for 99% of my work. That said; I can work in natural light (I find natural light is much simpler than flash, to be honest), but I do prefer having some control over how I wish to light my subjects.
Although I'm a professional, I am willing to do a few freebies here and there, if the model has an idea of something that I may find interesting (or, indeed, if I'd just like to shoot the model himself/herself).
I like to keep my post-processing minimal (after all, a portrait photograph is about the model, not the photographer). I am versatile and can adapt to different locations/light/etc. quickly.
