If you visit my website you'll see Photography is my passion. In the past shoot/shot almost every category except portraits. Then a few years ago I started portraits and I LOVE IT. I love to make people look their best, capturing their most beautiful moments.
I do my own retouching. I use LR and CS for developing and editing.
My gear is mainly Canon EOS bodies (5DmkII, 7D, 60D) and various lenses. In the past I shot with Canon, Nikon, Olympus, film and digital, owned more lenses then I can remember from each camp. Now I reduced my gear to a few great lenses, and I spent the rest of the money on pistachios :).
I'm interested in a limited number of TF shoots with select models when I/we feel that a shoot could help us both. I'm not interested in horror or gore stuff. All TFs require a signed model release. During the May - September months I am very busy which means less time for TFs. Still, contact me, if I have time I would be happy to work with you but paid jobs are first.
Before we get to the work part: I am not here to date. I have a happy relationship. This is a model/photography site not a dating site. Some - usually guys with a camera posing as photogs or models - forget this.
That said I am fun to be around but I take my job seriously and expect the same from you. I am easy to work with, I listen to your ideas and I only have some very simple rules:
1. Be on time. Paid or not paid makes no difference, it's work. I'll wait 5 minutes. If you won't show/call I'll consider the shoot cancelled. Let's talk again next year.
2. In general: No "Babysitters" unless you are not an adult.
If someone will drop you off and pick you up that's fine of course.
If you are a female model and we shoot in a studio bring an escort, just make sure he/she is a quiet one. I myself may bring my better half to help when she has time. Try to bring a friend, not your ex or current lover who will realize in the middle of the shoot that he/she has issues. :). Needless to say, no other voice than yours or mine, no other opinion, direction than the model's or mine and no camera is on my shoot other than mine. My experience is that the best if there is none on the shoot other than the model and the photographer. I like to focus on the shoot not watching someone playing with my gear or walking around or listening to someone's talking on the phone...
You the model need to focus on your work too, not thinking, worrying about the person you brought, or that if he/she approves you.
3. Developing and editing photos takes time. Depending on the shoot, the amount of editing needed, TF or paid I usually deliver them in a week or two.
I will not give out RAW or unedited files. The same way you won't get the notes from the writer when you buy a book :). My final product is the edited/finished photo. I do my own retouching.
4. Unless specifically requested and paid for - every shoot requires a certain type of model release.
Well, that's pretty much it. If you survived this the shoot will be easy :)
