I've been doing a lot of live bodypainting, mostly in Times Square. I've been getting worldwide press as well as NY Times, Post, Observer and NPR. Here is a small sampling.
I don't create illusions. I make the art up on the spot.
I don't have a plan. When I do I don't follow it.
I feed off of the body and energy of the model I'm painting.
I like the temporary nature of bodypainting, it helps me focus forward.
I try to see art as the experience of creating it.
I do studio shoots and live outdoor painting.
