American born and Nigerian raised filmmaker, Damie Okulaja is a music video director who also creates narrative pieces that expertly cut across genres. His video journalism experience as a youngster compliments his narrative exploration of corruption, heartbreak, and his vision for Africa.

Currently a Cinema Art + Science undergrad at Columbia College Chicago, Damie has come a long way from a passionate spectator to producing music videos and documentaries, bagging some of Africa’s A-list musicians in his reel. His contributions to the society through film, recently granted him the role as an Oxfam Media Ambassador.
