  Although I so some great studio work, first and foremost I'm a very experienced, very accomplished natural-light photographer.  In the course of my many years in front my Nikons and Hasselblad, I've worked in just about every photography genre -- from sports photography, weddings, fine portraiture, events photography, landscapes, fashion, glamour, and fine art.  My long and broad experience with landscape compositin and natural light helps me create unique glamour and art images that have a special look with the model, background, and light all blended together in a pleasing, synergistic composition. My relaxed shooting style helps bring out the very best in my models and delivers photos that capture my models' full potential.

My interest in joining Model Mayhem is driven by a desire to work with models
in all stages of their careers -- from just starting out to experienced and professional -- to collaboratively create awesome photographic images that tell
a story.  I enjoy working to get those stunning shots that will add the "pop" to a model's portfolio. I believe my command of natural-light situations allows me to create the kind of images that will enhance not only my own portfolio, but my model's as well.

FRIEND REQUESTS:  This is not a social network-- I usually ignore drive-by friend requests, as I use my "Friends" list as a go-to list when I'm looking for models.  If you would like to be my friend you must have either worked with me, or plan on doing so within a month or so of your FR (if I don't hear from you after the FR, you will be removed.) 

GENERAL:  If you have a great idea that you have always wanted to shoot, but thought that it was too risque', or too eclectic ... please share it with me.  My basic photographer's philosophy is that creating great images is a creative, collaborative process between photographer and model -- with each contributing to the final image.  I do not judge..I repeat..I do not judge anyone, any idea -- besides,  how will we know where the artistic/trash line is unless someone is willing to cross it.

COMMUNICATIONS:  Professional businesses expect phone calls to be returned by the end of the business day, or within 24 hrs.  If we are negotiating a shoot or have booked at shoot, it is expected that each party will review their mail and return messages within 24 hrs.
