Why Model?
I am an occasional model. I prefer to work with a few photographers and to develop a creative and collaborative relationship over time and several sessions.
I am interested in art, especially photography, as a process.
I model to be part of the process.
What do I
do with all these photos? Same as you! I sift, file, edit, and re-edit (with permission). Yes, I will occasionally request to edit or re-edit a few photos on my own. Eventually, they get posted here:

What to Expect
- I am super stupid picky about accepting trade offers from photographers I have not already worked with. I have established ongoing trade relationships with photographers already and am satisfied creatively by these relationships.
- If you would like me to
make time to work with you, we can discuss an hourly or daily rate based on your budget and what you would like me to model. This would still need to be planned out at least 2 weeks.
- I consider bartering arrangements on par with tf/prints/cd-ect. Meaning: I still expect to receive images.
- My preferred "modeling style" is fine art nudes. I don't have tattoos. My hair is long and does not change color or length often. My skin tone is fair with more olive tones when tanned.
- I enjoy getting cold, wet, and dirty for shoots.
- Female models/ photographers: please know I am looking to work with other gals. Yes, nude. I also have a photography hobby.
- I'm always open to ideas and experiments, that's why I posted a profile on here. Also, just because I've done it once or twice doesn't mean I won't try an idea again with another photographer. Light is light, it likes to play too.
Limits:
I know my boundaries and will not compromise beyond them. I will discuss my limits with individual photographers and address them as they arise. I will not work with anyone who refuses to discuss shooting ideas (expectations, not the whole setup) before a shoot. If I am unexpectedly asked to do something mid-shoot that I am not comfortable doing, then the shoot/ session will be over. If this pops your artistic bubble, I'm not sorry.
I don't do spread shots, I don't touch my lady bits, and I don't do bondage. I do not do shoots that involve the photographer touching me in any way. Nor will i allow sexual props, toys, or paraphernalia on shoot set/location.
3 things you should know before working with me:
- I have Duane Syndrome
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Duane_syndrome . It makes for some creative shooting at times. (I can rarely look at the camera).
- I am deaf in my left ear and mostly deaf in my right. I lip-read very well, and do not wear hearing aids. You would most likely not notice this w/out me telling you in a normal situation. However, in a modeling situation, this means I won't hear you when you're directing me from behind the camera. Especially, if there is running water, wind/fans, music, or traffic.
- I have Celiac disease/ gluten intolerance. If you plan to have food/snacks I can provide my own substitutes for most foods and beverages with advanced notice.
Music: I am fine w/ or without music. I don't like loud blaring music; I value what little hearing I have left. My tastes are eclectic and varied. Ask me to bring my own music at your peril. (you could be subjected to everything from show tunes and Wagner to The Dandy Warhols and Coco Rosie).
