Hello! I am a May 2011 graduate from The Academy of Makeup Arts in Nashville, TN. I have spent the last 8 years of my life doing makeup for the band I'm in. We wear full stage makeup that has to be prepared every night of tour. (yes kinda like KISS! HA!) I bring something different to the table when it comes to makeup artistry because I've spent many years behind the camera or onstage as a performer. Besides being a rock n roller, I've spent a large portion of my life in the theatre doing musicals or operas. I wanted to become an actual makeup artist because I love it! I'm not afraid to get down and dirty and I'm not afraid to work hard. Even though I spend a lot of time on the road, I like to be behind the scenes as much as I like being in the spotlight. I've always had an invested interest in makeup and now I can call myself a certified professional.
I love being a makeup artist because the possibilities are endless! Seeing a vision of how a person or character is going to look after I apply makeup starts in my head and then I make it happen one stroke at a time. I've worked with models, country artists, brides, singer/songwriters, actors, actresses and of course other rock 'n rollers. I'm additionally taking home courses through Dick Smith's school of Special Effects. I'm always eager to learn new things, push myself, practice techniques and work with anyone.
In terms of rates please message me.
I typically do not do TF shoots anymore. However, if you are on a limited budget I am 10 times more likely to accept the job if you state your willing budget up front.
Thank you for looking!
