Nico's native Puerto Rican heritage has always been a part of his natural flare for fashion, style and design. Prior to being a world-class hair stylist, Nico's unique eye for balance, shape, color and dimension was developed in his previous incarnation as a master artist in the visual display field, but it was only when he became a hairdresser that his true artistry came to light.
Nico's training includes the legendary Vidal Sassoon Academy in Santa Monica, CA and then The L'Oreal Institute in New York City where he mastered the art of color, furthering his quest for style perfection.
His talents have been spotlighted on VH1's "The Surreal Life," CBS's "Dr Phil Show" and CNN's "Larry King Live" where he was able to demonstrate his craft to millions of viewers throughout the World, and most recently on Louise Roe's Reality Series of "Plain Jane" on the CW Network.
