If you have the time to read this, thank you, hopefully you will get a feel for my personality and understand why I do what I do:
In my "daytime life" I am an Organic Skin Care Specialist and Nail Specialist at a Wellness Facility. I am truly passionate about health and beauty, so modeling happens to fall into my lifestyle nicely. I am an agency signed model but am able to do my own personal work. I love art, I love beauty, I love emotion and how all those things, and more, make a beautiful image. I love the entire production of a photoshoot; from the dressing up to the hair and makeup to the theatrics while shooting and even the editing afterwards. I ENJOY being in front of the camera and I really enjoy having fun while doing it.
Now, although I am a passionate person, I am also a complete goof. I like to laugh 'til my eyes water, make others laugh, usually at my own expense, and I don't like to take much seriously....I leave seriousness for serious matters and as far as I'm concerned...."modeling" is more of a fun matter for me...I have a full time job
I am currently seeking a passionate, creative, fun, open-minded photographer(s) in my area to collaborate with on a regular basis. I am in desperate need of an artistic outlet and would love someone to share my passion for less than typical images and perhaps push some new boundaries that I have not yet tried (in good taste, of course). Ah yes, and if you have a creepy abandoned building with chipping paint and shattered windows that no person in their right mind would venture into to shoot...I'm your girl.....
Please be patient with me, it's a little difficult for me to schedule photoshoots at this time. Sometimes it does take me awhile to respond to emails, and unfortunately, if I know that my look and your work won't mesh well together, I may not email back. I am truly not trying to be rude or arrogant, but at this stage for me in modeling, I have become very selective and I want, as I'm sure you do as well, to work with people that I think will best showcase my look and style and that I will acheive the best results with.
NOTICE: I hate to even have to write this, but I feel it needs to be said, not just to those that feel in some way "snubbed" by me, but for anyone else that may need to hear it. So...here it goes....
It is a fact that not everyone will like what everyone else has to offer; not every model will catch the eye of every photographer and not every photographers work will impress every model enough to collaborate....AND THAT IS OK!
If I am not interested in working with you, it is not a personal attack, please don't take it as such....a declined offer is not me saying that your work stinks or that you're not good enough. If I believe that your photography style clashes with me, then wouldn't that be me saying that my modeling style also clashes with you? It's not that anyone is better than the other, it's just that they are different and perhaps not complimentary. I hope you're understanding what I'm getting at here.
We are all working toward a personal goal in this crazy industry, and mine and yours may be different, so instead of getting bent out of shape as if I have just broken up with you or kicked your dog, lets please respect each other for our differences and not take this to heart. Although we may never work with each other, we can still respect each other.
My job and life keep me very busy and now I just added on planning a wedding. Please, please, please don't take any offense ....I just can't take on too many things at once.
