The goal of my work is to create images that portray intelligence, confidence and sensuality, and which exist without the slightest hint of reservation or apology. These images are created primarily for women, as reflections of a level of self-confidence far higher than those experienced today. Far too often we attempt to limit ourselves to just one of those three qualities, when in truth they all exist, in full, within every one of us.
I work primarily in park settings such as Balboa and Presidio here in San Diego and because my goal is to create images that I will sell as prints, I am, in essence, the client for the shoot. And as the client sponsoring the shoot I’ll be shooting only those themes described below, and all shoots will include a signed release.
While I do provide web resolution comps of all the shots I release, please know that I have a day job that keeps me quite busy and I cannot promise a quick turnaround on the comps. But while the comps may take a while, this will be a paid shoot. And since I only release images that I consider worthy of framing, I think you’ll be pleased with the results.
About the smart, sexy, confident theme...
My goal is to create images which illustrate those three qualities and I prefer to shoot in context, meaning since you would not normally wear lingerie to the park, I do not consider it a good outfit for an outdoor shoot. However, because this variant of glamour calls for a very sexy look, short skirts, etc. are needed to achieve these goals and the clothing underneath the blouse and skirt will be visible in the shots. I will often add props that highlight the intelligence of the model such as books and chess sets.
Expressiveness is also a crucial factor, for if a model does not project confidence, sensuality and intelligence from within herself, the clothing does little good.
Thank you for your time. I look forward to working with you.
