I create youthful, innovative knitwear for knitting patterns that I sell on my own site, KnitPicks, and on a variety of websites that reach the hand-knitting enthusiast audience.

I've been designing for several years, but I just started makeone in Spring 2011.

I'm on MM to find professional models for my work - I'll typically reach out before a product is created to get your measurements. So the items I shoot are somewhat made for you. Except you can't keep them. :)

I typically have a couple professional photographers I know - who are also on MM - handle the shoots. I'm all about super-high quality photos of my work. They'll only be kinda OK quality if I do them myself, so...

My goals are to be super prolific and design as much as possible. I'm also submitting designs periodically to a variety of magazines and websites to gain a wider audience and more notoriety for my knitting patterns.
