Vladimir’s life began in Russia where he was born and raised. Upon completing his education in industrial design In Kiev, Ukraine he forged forward and furthered his education in fashion design.
Moving to Canada in 1998 only strengthened his artistic callings both as an occupation and as a hobby. As a result he became passionately involved in portrait and modeling photography.
Since the beginning of his career in 1985, Vladimir has had the sought after talent of being able to reach inside a person’s soul and capture a piece of it in a photograph; sometimes a piece they never knew existed. This connection to human emotions is what sets Vladimir’s work apart from others. However, his talent doesn’t stop there.
With Vladimir’s keen eye and his ability to fuse photography’s traditional methods with today’s creative possibilities results in a portrait that is nothing less than magical.
Drawing from his experience of over 3,000 portraits, Vladimir has learned and conveyed that the most important aspects of his work are being able to capture the unique personality of each individual by tasteful composition and effective lighting. What sets him apart is his talent to meld all his experience into a portrait that creates much more than a photograph….it creates a story and a glimpse into someone’s being!
