Hi! My name is Bobbie. I am someone who has set my own agenda and achieved it all, a Renaissance Woman! Born in Alexandra, Virginia, I was raised in Logan County, West Virginia. My interests are simple – anything related to music. I started playing the piano before I could read a cereal box and I continue to nurture my musical talents today. Performing has always made me feel larger than life. I was given an opportunity to use my vocal talents for more than Sunday morning church services. I received professional vocal training from the alto soloist of the West Virginia Opera Company. I never said no to a performance – tap recitals, funerals, graduations, musicals, and cantatas. While working on a musical for high school, I found my passion for dance. “To dance is to be out of yourself, larger, more beautiful, more powerful” – Agnes DeMille
Since developing my skills and passion for dance, I have turned dancing into a second career. Being fit through exercise and a healthy eating plan was instrumental in my weight loss, and in sharing this knowledge with my friends, I have found them eager to learn. Today, I am a Fitness Instructor and Personal Trainer. Commonly, you will hear me affirming my life style choices with my students chanting “Commit to be Fit”.
There is not much idle time in my life, but when I do have downtime, I spend it pursuing interests that involve friends, shopping, roller skating and in search of the best tasting healthy foods at local eateries.
One of my proudest moments was in June 2010 when I saw my son graduate from high school. He is my single greatest accomplishment and a source of pride.
