Freelance photographer in Hamburg and Kiel and photographic law lecturere who studied photography at the Photo+Medienforum in Kiel, Germany (and also media studies, history of art and psychology in Bochum). I also worked as a staff photographer at an advertising agency, an online journalist and assistant director.

I work with analog techniques starting from 1851 (wetplate collodion, dry plates, film photography etc) and digital as well.

I prefer working with models who like to add their own experience and ideas while developing the idea instead of people who “just do a job” and/or just play a role. That is especially true with portraits who should really tell something about the person in that picture …
