I've been on a bit of an accidental hiatus from photography since January, and have only just begun to start working and showing again. Most recently, my work has been featured at the annual "Convergence" exhibit in the Avant building in downtown Buffalo, sponsored by Damon & Morey LLP, as well as at the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City. FYI to everyone I don't use this profile to exhibit my photography, so that is why I only utilize the basic profile's 15 images and infrequently update what's there. I really only keep this as a go-to list for models when I'm not using my regulars or have a concept that requires several models. However, I do very much hope you'll utilize it for that purpose.
I am a young professional living and working in downtown Buffalo, who moonlights as a photographer. While I tend to photograph whatever inspires me as I go through life, I most enjoy focusing my photography on portraiture, and I especially love creative shoots involving human models. I believe the human body and face hold the most potential for incredible art, and that they compliment limitless scenarios. I am always excited to work with new models on creative projects - whether they are beginners or experienced models - and to find new spaces for my work. I prefer working outside of the studio for most things, and am generally happier when I'm working with an idea rather than simply shooting portraits for the sake of them. I am open to any and all ideas, and prefer models who are as well. I'm excellent with direction and posing, and make sure that my models and shots turn out reflecting well on me as an artist.
When not engaging in simple portraiture, my approach to photography is first and foremost a creative outlet. As a psychologist at heart, my creative work almost exclusively continues to use models – seeking to capture the infinite intrigue of humanity through the beauty of faces and bodies. Much of my work attempts to speak to the many facets of the human condition. I'm often drawn to creating a stark contrast between the human form and its environment, whether complementary or oppositional.
I can be contacted by email at firstname.lastname@example.org. I also prefer to meet and get to know someone in a fun and neutral location (such as a local bar or coffee shop) before I meet them for a shoot.
