Al Macrae has been behind a camera for over 20 years working on a regional, national and international scale. Indeed, his work has featured in some of the hottest subject matter in the country.


Al is recognised within the industry for his professionalism and artistic talent. He is dedicated to providing a personal service to each of his clients and uses his skill and creative expertise to produce images of the highest quality.


Al started his career as a sports photographer, regularly taking pictures of equestrian events, then for the UK government as a specialist photographer. He gained most of his photographic expertise in London, for the UK Government, receiving regular requests for photojournalistic photographic evidence, before taking a training position as a surveillance photographer where he became Lead Trainer in Surveillance and Photographic Imagery.


With a trained eye for detail and a gift for composition, his work stands out from the rest.

The transformation of real life to final image through Al's lens is an art in itself.
