We're throwing a photoshoot event (which as you know if you've come to one, are SO MUCH MORE then some pretty pictures. Your soul will thank you!) and it is not to be missed!
little about Miss Dana:
I have coined her my Benny Ninja (if you know America's Next Top Model, you'll know who this is...if not, LOOK HIM UP!) She can work a curve, and extend a body like nobody's business! A dancer her whole life, as well as a published model, and promo girl (making the most tacky shit look fabulous, with the bat of a voluminous eyelash) Dana can coach even the most timid into a vicious diva. I have even seen her up her shirt to a model to get the right look for a shot, at one of my Toronto photoshoots! She is the sweetest girl a chick could ever have on her side, with the perfect amount of badass. This is truly an AWESOME experience to get in on. My sista from anotha mista, our killer team, and I will glam you into a delicious, and sexy work of art! A must for first timers...but I warn you, it's addictive.

This is me, hangin' out in my messy kitchen. Word up.
You know what rules? Chick photographers. It's a whole other experience. Fun, girly, and sexy!
I specialize in high contrast, edgy, dark shoots. I work with minimal lighting, and minimal editing (I have NO idea what I'm doing on photoshop...it's all a fluke.), because I feel a real photographer fixes issues with their photos WHILE they're taking them. Oh, and P.S....don't laugh at my setup. It's ridiculous. It's literally 2 $20 lights. I'm like the wizard of awes, and behind the curtain is just some 60watt bulbs!

I like girls with curves, and brains. Silly, and crazy, always wins me over. If you're willing to sit in a puddle, or hang off scaffolding in stilettos, all with a smile, then you my dear, are my new best friend! It's all a team effort, and it's all in good fun. So sucky girls need not apply!
Obviously, I'm into girls with unusual looks, tattoos are always a bonus, extreme hair...super long, or super short, or super big, or just super rad is also a huge asset. Style, grace, and humor are essential. I'm not your regular photographer, it won't be you're regular shoot, and I promise we'll have a fabulous time!
Danny Bio: (words by MJ)
Danny graduated from the prestigious Etobicoke School of the Arts, in Toronto, as a Visual Arts major, in 1996. Her humble photography beginnings started in the smoking pit parking lot, back in the fall of 1993. Coercing her friends to dump water on themselves, strip down to wifebeaters, and ties, and stick their hands down their pants, so she could take gritty, and edgy, portraits of them. Danny went on to take a photography course that year, but was persecuted for her controversial subject matter, high contrast prints, and absolute rejection of artistic authority.
Danny later went on to study Fashion Arts and Cosmetics at Humber College in Toronto, but always keeping her focus on visual style elements. When the course took a "do-as-your-told" direction, she became a beauty school dropout. To pay the bills, she got a job at a local photo shop, mainly for the discount on high end cameras. In her spare time, she continued to pursue her interest in fashion, photography, and style, by creating custom clothes, and accessories. As her business grew, she took her profits, and made the move to Montreal. Once she established herself, she began to put emphasis back on her passion, and started photographing local chicks, events, and personalities, in her inimitable style. Word of Danny's guerrilla D.I.Y. approach to photoshoots, and her alternative, yet professional results, quickly spread, and her talents were soon in high demand. Edgy, dark, and distinctly sexy, Danny now is building a promising career using her signature style, that separates her from the current crop of independent photographers in Canada.
