I am semi-pro freelance photographer, originally from Prague, Czech Republic, now living in California, US.
It is the light and photographer who masters the production and photo, not the camera. I expect many GWC's will have a different opinion, but that's it. Photography is my passion for many years, over time I've got broad experience in outdoor and studio as well as good experience in post processing.
While I reside in California, I am very often in Nevada - Reno area up to Austin, sometimes traveling even further. I also have a full professional team in Reno area I cooperate with, including MUA's and hair stylists (Tina MM 2466317, Janis and Leah). For smaller projects I am able to do a professional make up and limited hair as well.
You can see regular updates on my Facebook: http://www.facebook.com/petr.suchomel.photography
My goal is to get the best for model and my portfolio. While I photography is not my occupation, I am focused on getting nothing else then the top professional results. You're going to get fully professional service from begging - make up, hair, in many cases dressing and after shoot retouched high resolution images for download, in many cases also archive print you can proudly hang on wall.
I can work both on location and in studio, with pretty broad set up and open mind to any idea. I usually so TFP but paid is obvious option when I am interested in certain model and concept. Before you ask me if I would pay you for shoot - I am only interested in models with well build portfolios (two snapshots from cell phone at party do not qualify). Save my time.
For couple of upcoming months I am running project call Suchys' Shady Shack - A very fine art photography with my team in Reno. If you are interested, you can find more information on my Facebook page. And when I talk about Reno - there are many people in Nevada who really enjoy to work with me and otherwise I enjoy working with them, and some few GWC's who are spreading the worst stories about me.
For the second, do not believe them, reality is even worse. I really do not like GWC's :-). You'll better check with people I have worked or regularly working :-)
A little bonus: I do also traditional large format film and historical processes.
