I am a freelance photographer specializing in fitness, swimwear and lingerie photography and I am based in Surrey, British Columbia.
I have been at this for a long time. I have been shooting models since 1982 and I have quite a background in sports and fitness. Hence my interest in fitness modeling.
I also have formal training in photography from Langara college and I took an aerial photography course while attending Simon Fraser University.
Apart from shooting models, I am also interested in landscape, nature and street photography.
For models who wish to get into magazines, here are some useful tips:
Models who appear in magazines (whether it be Maxim or Musclemag) are in top notch shape. You have to work out to get into magazines.
Practise poses and facial expresions. These are skills that are not learned overnight. Mastering poses and expressions makes the shoots much easier and creates fantastic results.
Wear bronzers to all photo shoots. Bronzers are used in almost all magazine photo shoots. Get in the habit of using bronzers.
When buying clothing for the wardrobe, get in the habit of buying designer outfits instead of clothing off the rack. Designer clothing fits better, looks better and is of higher quality than outfits bought off the rack.
***Note for all of the models and photographers who have inquired about model Eboney Chipman, her swimsuit photo spread can be seen in the new issue of American Curves magazine.***
My work is published in Musclemag, American Curves and Status Fitness
