Very Limited TfCD at this time - You can ask, but unless you can offer me something (e.g. location, concept, makeup, costume, etc.) unique/creative/etc., I will probably say "no". This is simply a reflection of my limited time for shooting.

I am a professional photographer, specializing in historic, gothic, glamour, editorial and artistic work, like faeries and angels. I do this because I love the creative process, which is why most of my work is themed--not your usual fashion or bikini look. I enjoy working with creative models, MUAs, hairstylists, wardrobe specialists and even other photographers to develop a unique look--the colors, textures, attire, lighting, poses, etc.
My photographic work is an extension of my larger work in web site development, marketing, writing (fiction and non-fiction), and film work (I own a small, indie film production company--more info on that below). In addition, I can do proms, class pictures, corporate, and landscape/architecture projects. And I'm happy to work with bands and singers in developing a unique image--for PR or album covers.
For models who develop and manage their own image web sites, I am available for short or long term contract. Email or message me and we can discuss details--I am open to a number of possible business relationships.
For those models who are under 18 years, I am willing to work with you in developing your portfolio.
Parents: I can provide references--just ask.

New Model, looking to develop your portfolio?
I am an experienced photographer who can help you create unique images and a wide range of styles and looks. You can choose one (or more) of the themes I work with, or suggest one of your own. These themes include:
- faeries, angels and other mystical/spiritual persona
- historical periods (e.g. Egyptian, Renaissance, Gypsy)
- gothic and rave
- fashion and glamour, especially evening or prom gowns
- lingerie
- pin-up styles (especially 1940s/50s era)
In many cases, I can supply the attire. I have an extensive collection of outfits and shoes, in a variety of sizes. Most of the clothes you see in my photos were supplied by me.
Those models with whom I have worked will tell you that I'm professional, respectful, creative and easy to work with. You can see some links to the models I've worked with recently on this site as well as my One Model Place (OMP # 169644) portfolio. Models
are always free to bring a friend/companion along to the shoot.
I highly recommend that a model hire a MUA (makeup artist) for their shoot, if they are not experienced with doing their own makeup. I can do this for you, as I know several excellent MUAs (as you can see in the credits to my photos). The cost is around $50-60/shoot, depending on the complexity of the makeup work.
I have access to studios in Lawrence, MA, Attleboro, MA, and Manchester, NH -- but outdoor shoots can be done any where in the eastern MA, southern NH, or RI areas, and in some cases, the rest of New England. I also travel extensively. Message me for more details.
My General Rates
If you would like to hire me for a shoot, I generally charge the following:
-- $150 for a three hour session, with two to three outfits of your choosing. You will receive a full set of unedited photos on CD-ROM; you can also choose up to 10 pics from our shoot to be edited by me as part of this price. On average, a three hour session will produce between 350-400 photos. I can, in many cases, supply the attire/costumes at no extra charge. And as many of the models and MUAs that I work with can tell you--I have one of the largest shoe collections in the region! Finally, the model release form that I use will grant you extensive permissions to use these photos from our shoot on your portfolios--here on Model Mayhem and elsewhere.
Paid Shoots
I have regular
paid shoots , but unless I contact you or I post a casting call, I currently only offer these paid shoots to those models I've already worked with.
Other stuff
On the personal side, I am in my mid-40s, married, with a
number of children (from college age to early elementary school). They keep me quite busy!
