About MeI'm an experienced photographer/videographer interested in helping aspiring models with low cost, marketable portfolios while building my own reputation. I have produced over a dozen modeling and acting portfolios (both men and women), but am working toward fine tuning the process of creating video portfolios in addition to still image ones.
My concept is simple: Modeling agencies have an established set of photos that they want to see when considering new models for their agency. I am interested in perfecting my ability to create that set. All the flashy stuff can wait.
To all of the models on this page: If I send you a friend invite, I can assure you that it is with the prospect of contacting you to discuss the possibility of working with you, not to date you. I am only interested in working with models who have a focus on establishing or furthering their careers in the industry, and who can, through their photogenic looks and appeal, can help me develop ideal portfolios that showcase my skills as well as their beauty.
I do not have a problem with paying my models or support: if I get an assignment or am practicing a certain photo shoot format (fashion, for example), you will get paid at the end of the shoot, period. End of story. I have worked with models and support who will attest to that.
Oh, and one other thing. While I am interested in working in all facets of photography. I'm not a big fan of nudity, swimwear or anything overly racy. I like to leave something to the imagination. If you're hiring me to shoot you in overtly sensual or sexual poses, that's fine - it's your money. Otherwise, I like my models fully clothed. I'm such a party pooper.
To all of the photographers on this page: This is also an opportunity for me to study the work of local Georgia photographers and pick their brains on how they created some of the masterpieces I've seen in their collections. Do not be surprised if you see an email asking if I may tag along on shoots. While I don't ordinarily do creative shoots, I am willing to learn.
I have been approached by a couple of "agencies" who claim they have shoots set for me already. If there is someone out there who can educate me about these scam artists (who also don't have a solid grasp of the English language), please feel free to do so. I appreciate it.
I don't anticipate any active agencies recruiting me at this time, not when I can see that there are several world class photographers already established here, but as I begin to load portfolios, any suggestions from legitamite ones are welcome.
I can be reached at email@example.com or firstname.lastname@example.org
