Somica Renee MUA

Hello MM! I'm Somica, makeup artist/model based here in Birmingham, but I do travel to Georgia & Tennessee as often as I can. Some would say my strong points are beauty, pinup/glam, dark/gothic couture or special effects horror themes, but are NOT LIMITED TO THAT. I'm also available for weddings, runway, photoshoots & film/tv work.

I've been published in a few magazines such as B-Metro, Pin-Up Perfection, & Tinsel Tokyo. I've also have worked as a MUA for independent films (The Hospital) and music videos (Reaching Out & Love Sex Riot). My full resume can be seen on my Facebook in the Notes section.

For TF projects (kit fee may apply) I am only accepting work that I do not have in my portfolio already. Anything editorial, avant-garde or special effects* related. I like doing things that help to push my creativity and inspire me. I've been very stuck lately BC there seems to be a shortage of artists that share my same ideas. *When I say special effects, I mean not just zombies or the typical "blood & gore". I have posted images showing that I can do those popular yet overdone styles but this is not solely what the genre of special makeup effects is.
