Over the many years I've been making photographs, I've been, variously, Staff Photographer for the Santa Barbara International Film Festival, Staff Photographer for the La Belle Modeling Agency, Staff Photographer and Contributing Editor for "Excellence, A Magazine About Porsche Cars," and have had contributions, both copy and images, in "Santa Barbara Magazine," "WoodenBoat" magazine, "Woodwork" magazine, the "Weekly" in Santa Barbara, and the "Independent".
I both wrote and made the photographs for my book, "Cutwater, Speedboats from the Golden Age of Boating," and made the photographs for "Classic American Runabouts."

An essay on Black and White Photography:
Bruce on Location, Muskoka, Canada, with the Land Rover Defender, 2005
In addition to both black and white and color portraits, art, and portfolio work, I'm looking for models and aspiring actors interested in collaborating on DSLR video.

A Couple From My Archives

The location was Tony's idea, in the Hollywood Hills above his home. As were the dead soldiers, which littered what appeared to be a popular lookout (parking) spot.
My profile appeared in "Santa Barbara Magazine".
Without this image.
As an aside, my assistant was a Brooks student who broke my heart with regularity for about a year. I've tried to avoid passion since then… but I guess it's part of my nature.
