Hi my name is Peter Grossman and I am a Photocommunications major at St. Edward's University. Firstly, I would like to state that I am not much of a writer so I apologize that this is not something funny or charismatic to read. That said, I am extremely passionate about photography, I am an artist and my medium is photography. I am constantly looking for new models to shoot with, whether they are trained or not. I have currently been pursuing a direction towards Editorial or Fashion work. I have a couple more years left at St. Edwards so, that always could change. I typically do not have paid shoots, but sometimes necessity dictates otherwise. I will only do paid shoots with people I have worked with before. In short, I am looking for models who are also trying to build their portfolio and would be willing to shoot either TFCD or TFP. I try to shoot almost every weekend, since I believe fully in the idea that practice makes perfect, in addition to the fact that I love photography. What I love about photography, and want keeps me excited for every shoot is that I know we can create something beautiful every shoot, but I never know what that will be until it happens. Even if I know exactly what wardrobe we have, the exactly what to expect at the location of the shoot, and even exactly what to expect from the model if I have worked with them before, I still never know what that image will look like until we have created it. I say "we" because I think the model is just as instrumental as my own part in the work.
Escorts are completely fine, but I would request that I am informed ahead of time. Thank you for taking the time to read this, and if you have any questions or would like to plan a shoot, please feel free to message me.
Current Project: I have been shooting at night for a project I have unofficially named Smoke and Light project. Basically it is of people smoking at night, and how the smoke catches the light. I will be posting a casting call for it sometime this week.
Future Plans: I am currently in the process of getting a website done, so hopefully I should have a site by this summer.
Please note that a shoot is not on my calendar until we have a phone conversation on the details. The reason for this is that, I have found that people have a much easier time canceling on someone they have never talked to. These days everyone is busy so time is a valuable commodity, which is why I have this clause.
