Hello folks, I'm david, formerly known as Fireninja. Not so long ago I spent years and years as a performance artist, performed in hundreds of shows, and got to work with some of the best photographers in the NW. Now I'm retired from performing, but still enjoy the creative dynamic of working with fantastic photographers -- something about it is magic.

So, here I am.

What I'm looking for is creative opportunities with creative folks. My standards are high, because I have had the privilege of working with some really top-notch photographers. If there is something exciting you have in mind share it with me -- it is time well spent to be a part of creating a magic image. As you can probably see from my various portfolio pics, I'm somewhat obsessed with the interplay of light, shadow and contrast. . . and use of unconventional color palettes.

My approach to the finances are simple: if you are making money, so should I. If you are doing an art project that is non-pecuniary in nature, and I find it interesting as well, money need not be an issue.

p.s. I'm also here to track down old friends. . . PHOTOGRAPHERS, if you think you took photos of one of my many shows, send me a friend request, and if you have copies of the images that would be great too 'cause somewhere along the way I think I misplaced an entire binder of photo CDs. MODELS and MAKEUP people, you know who you are ;) drop me a line!

p.s. No offense, but I'm only looking to add as friends people I know or have worked with in "real life." Sorry.

p.p.s. I'm something of a gym rat and (depending on whether I'm in a bulking or cutting cycle) I fluctuate between about 6%-9% bodyfat. With a few weeks warning I can reliably be down at the bottom of that range for a shoot.
