Just a little Summer remaining and I'm lining up shoots, both payed and TF-I (trade for Images).

I often have Wednesdays Thursdays and Fridays available. If I'm free, I'll be happy to spend some time shooting.  I typically shoot in the last two hours of sunlight each day and am happy to work with new models.

My TF Models Receive..
-- at least two hours of my time on site.
-- digital downloads of selected portfolio-ready images.
-- Self-Promotional, and Personal-Use rights to the selected images.

Paying Models Receive..
-- at least Three hours of my time on site.
-- digital downloads of selected portfolio-ready images.
-- full Self-Promotional, Printing and Personal-Use rights to the selected images.
-- no less than Twenty images processed.
-- full resolution of Selected images for printing. w/o watermark
-- a DVD containing
          - a DVD player playable slideshow.
          - each selected image in full resolution and scaled to portfolio size.
          - a watermarked copy of every technically acceptable image..

My position on the "Photographers don't pay Models" issue.

1)  If you come to me and would like me to help build your portfolio, I will not pay you.
2)  If we have come to an agreement to partner in building both of our portfolios. I will be more than happy to cover the expenses for a project, including compensation for your travel.
3)  If I am working on my portfolio, I will be more than happy to pay you a reasonable wage, plus your travel expenses.


My position on the "Photographers do not give copies of all the images" issue.

I believe that it as valuable for a model to have a complete copy of there work in order for them to self critique and learn.  I also have had models post some incredibly bad pictures with my name attached.  To that end, I give my models every picture taken from a shoot that is technically acceptable, but with a PROOF watermark.


My position on the "Photographers do not give RAW images" issue.

Photography is my art.  I am not concerned with restricting the dissemination of my (good) work.  I give my models full resolution .jpg images of the best from each shoot, they are welcome to print them and use them in any self promoting way.  As to "Camera RAW" images,  They are impractical for most models and I prefer not to give them out.


My position on the "Who Owns the Images" issue.

1)  If I am being paid to shoot a project. the owner of the images is the person who paid for the shoot.
2)  If no money changes hands, I retain full ownership of and rights to the images, but provide full self promotion and printing rights to the model.
3)  If I am paying the model in any way, I retain full ownership of and rights to the images, but provide full self promotion and printing rights to the model.
