...my dear friends, the world needs art and artists at this point in time more than ever before...
I am a Los Angeles based sculptor, draftsman, painter.
This is my story...
This image, what you see here in my portfolio, is my latest work.
You may say that-if I was to die tomorrow-it would really be my masterpiece.
(I will post other work soon.)
I have sculpted hundreds of other excellent pieces, mostly for commercial purposes and some others for fine art endeavours (I make art for a living).
But as for this time going forward,
I hope that everything I create, supersedes the latter.
I have studied art with some incredible artists/teachers. Some are still alive and some others have left us.
To those teachers that have passed away (John, Steve, Dieter, Fuller), I want to say that I have loved you and that I want to formally thank you-thank you. The fact that I have sculpted BB is a tribute to you. To those other teachers that are still alive (Cretara, Jessica, etc...), I want to salute you for the valiant work that you do. You have no idea how much your work is needed in this day and age. You all have touched my soul and my life-
and you may say that anything good that I do in this world has your imprint.
Also, to all my beautiful (munchkin) nieces-that I teach oil painting to on Saturdays-I want to thank you for teaching me how to see this/that 'fearless' world again. I had forgotten...
As far as I am concerned, I have only one purpose in my life (besides loving my family and my beautiful friends). It is not money nor fame nor praise.
I want to make beautiful art.
The kind of art to leave as a legacy to my friends, family and this world.
Let me know if you'd like to join me in this journey.
Thank you for visiting and
thank you Sally and Pierre- which with out you, I would not be in this place to write this.
Also, thank you to Terrell
for inspiring me to re-write my intro,
and to Laurel also for the same thing and also for
a simple thing called hope...
I have told you my story,
now I want to tell yours.....
