I am an artist, photographer, producer and curator of art and music. I grew up in Tampa, Florida and was always creative as a child. I was a painter for a long time, and always dreamed of a life in NY as a famous painter as a teen in the 80's, and becoming part of the "Factory" someday. After Warhol's death, and due to ongoing family battles, I briefly gave up on my dream and lost interest in painting, and got really into music and going to see bands, which was when I got very interested in photography. I started out shooting rock photos and developed into experimenting with more creative things using photography as an art medium. I got a solid foundation in photography there in Tampa, under the instruction of the best around, Suzanne Crosby. After she taught me all she could, believing in me, she wrote a letter of recommendation for me. After a portfolio day in Florida, I applied to the school that showed the most interest in my work- the School of Visual Arts in New York. There I was offered a Chairman's Merit Scholarship for photography, which was a rare and huge honor (only 10 students per year were granted this award). I moved to NY within a couple of months with the money I made selling my work off the wall at the local coffee shop, and by cashing in my 401K from my receptionist job, with no place to live, nowhere to work, and never having been to NYC. I didn't know anyone, I just went. It was the most frightening moment of my life, but also the most liberating and life-changing. I lived at the Gershwin Hotel for my first several months in NY. And that's when my life really began...
If you are a model who is interested in working with me, please be interested for the following reason: You love my art and want to be part of it. I don't pay. It's not because I don't think you deserve to get paid for your time, costumes, and effort but you ARE getting "paid". Just not with money. You are getting to be in a piece of art that I created (and chances are you will get more work after working with me, many of my models have told me they have, but still- besides the point). I worked hard and for many years to accomplish what I have. What I mean by that is not "who" I am according to how much money I make or how much press I've gotten (which is way more than the former, by the way, heh). But who I have evolved into as an artist. All of the education I've gotten (that I still pay for EVERY MONTH! Yeah, I got a scholarship, but I'm still paying for my school before that! and, the scholarship didn't cover everything either!) and more notably, all of my experience is what I am talking about. That takes time. You can't buy that. Not to mention my creativity that I was blessed with... that can't even be learned. All the $$ I put into quality makeup and sets and equipment is beside the point. I find it extremely disrespectful when a model who has had no training, and paid nothing to LEARN anything, merely USES me for her vanity's sake so she can show off on My Space or wherever and show the world how pretty or "cool" she is. If you do that I've got news for you. You aren't COOL at all, OR pretty in my book! If you AREN'T "that" model, please feel free to contact me. I don't mean for this to sound disrespectful in any way. I appreciate my models so much. Without them, I would be nothing. I couldn't make art without models. And I know that modeling is hard work and costs money, and it takes a certain talent too. I realize and respect that. But if you plan on just making MY art into your own version of what you think it should be, then please just don't bother contacting me. Or if you plan on not sticking to our deal, or complaining about it later, just leave me alone and don't waste my time. I don't deserve to be disrespected that way and I don't want your energy around me. If you are a TRUE MUSE who loves art, and loves and respects creation, and respects the artist, please do contact me, I want to meet you. And I shall respect you too...

"Erotic Art School" is in session! Our naughty “art students” were given an assignment for this show of "Art School Project", only erotic, so instead of your usual art school projects they were to give it a sexy twist. Naughty art tests, pervy line drawings, inappropriate gesture drawings. This isn’t ordinary art school, it’s Erotic Art School! Art models in latex couture! Body paint, human art, perverted sculptures! You get the x-rated picture. Co-curated by the infamously kooky Heidi bluegirl and equally scandalously fabulous Apollo Staar, this art party is bound to go down in Hollywood history! There will be live (professional) “art student” painters, kinky art models, and other tantalizingly creative performances. Creatively provocative (Scandalous Art Student!) dress encouraged!
