I am now back from my trip to Lembeh Strait, Indonesia. Lembeh Strait is arguably the underwater macro/muck Mecca of the world! It was an amazing trip with some world renowned underwater photographers. Alex Mustard was recently commended in a category of the NHM Wildlife Photographer of the Year, and Julian Cohen was awarded a second place in another category. These are, perhaps, the most prestigious wildlife photography awards on Earth. I am posting some of the shots I got on the trip to my flickr site, so if you want to see some really cool critters, feel free to head on over to www.flickr.com/souldiver
Late spring/summer I will be looking primarily to shoot underwater nudes. I will have use of a private pool, but also will be shooting in open water (The Bay) as much as possible. The female nude looks and behaves differently underwater, and I am looking for artistic, poetic, soulful, graceful.
I would like to get some more free swimming models in the bay, either off the side of a pier, perhaps in between pylons, in a stony half submerged grotto, looking up with a sunburst in the background. That sort of thing. Will find the time to get a mermaid's tail or two up and running for summer. Probably some night time shoots, either at the pool, or even in the bay. At night lighting is so much more easy to work with, and the end result is crystal.
If you're keen and ready, then let me know. Ideally, you'd be comfortable underwater, ready to take direction, reliable, and able to get down to Frankston or Mount Eliza, where I do most of my shoots.
I recognise the value of MUA's and would be prepared to give some financial remuneration. For the models it would strictly be TF, unless nudity or partial or implied nudity is involved.
Wishing everyone every success and happiness.
