My artist statement goes thusly: Nature and humans and the way that humans create pieces of art almost every time they're at the same time destroying the natural beauty around them.
I also enjoy showing people that look like "normal everyday people" that they can look sultry or playful or unique without looking fake. If a person wants to dress up and play a part, we can play. I'm always looking to work with great MUA/Hair teams. People that are very talented in their field always causes me to feel excitement and I enjoy looking for others to collaborate with on different types of projects.
TFP is not my regular way of doing photography but currently I am reestablishing myself in the Bay Area so I will consider TFP on a case-by-case basis. I will not shoot without a release, a driver is welcome to drop you off and pick you up, but not to stay at the shoot unless they are participating (acting as pro stylist/mua or co-model). If we agree to TFP, you will receive my standard 3 8x10 prints and 5 web ready of my choice within two business weeks. If you pay, my rates are reasonable, and you'll get a MUA and your choice of images (number of images dependent on money paid) included in the package.
I never give CDs out, nor may you bring a memory card. If we were working in film you wouldn't get my negatives and I treat this as a standard practice. I have many models who recommend me. And if a model asks you to ask me regarding them I will be honest in their appraisal. I've been incredibly lucky: most every shoot I've shot has had great chemistry. I've been lucky in the models I've worked with.
Stylists who want to practice, let me know as you're welcome to join in any shoot in exchange for credit and prints. Same with designers.
Photographer and (once-in-a-while) model. I have Fibromyalgia. That limits my days that I can shoot or be shot. Having an invisible illness makes doing either difficult, but I manage to persevere.

My project of artisticfetishes.com has become stalled due to a series of serious problems with my health, which led to problems with my developer, which led to problems with my site. It is (was?) my own rated-R erotica site, www.artisticfetishes.com - I registered the domain, my ex-husband registered the LLC, and had reached the stage where we had built a very decent amount of original content and had set up our own Content Management System that would have been marketable on it's own for a good amount when my health took a very bad downturn.
Due to the combination of Addison's Disease, high candida allergy strongly affected by the necessity of steroids, my Hashimodo's, Fibromyalgia, and now possibly Lupus, I'm fairly bed-bound. But I'm still wanting to do both photography AND modeling, even if handicapped as I am. So "Cheers!" to you and yeah, let's see what we can create together.
