From the age of 14 photography has been a big part of my life but mainly as a hobby. I started with an Olympus 35mm fixed lens camera and over the years gradually moved to SLR film cameras. I eventually moved to digital with some reluctance and recently moved to the professional end of the digital market with the Canon 5D partnered with professional lenses.
In my 20’s I took up professional photography photographing babies and young children. Unfortunately I became a single parent and photography once again became a hobby as I could no longer devote the time that the profession demands. Over the past 15 years I have been a teacher and have taught photography as part of ICT both use of camera and photo manipulation.
Many people have suggested I use my skill in a professional manner and as I am now in the position of where it is possible to take my photography to the next level. So my wife and I have decided it is about time I developed the creative side of my photography. We have formed the company and now wish to follow some creative ideas with the help of a range of models both in studio and on location.
Had a great photo shoot at Photo Mystique with brilliant end results. Tony is a great photographer who allowed me to be comfortable when shooting, was very professional, and also he pasted on a lot of knowledge and did not only take pictures but helped me in terms or learning a lot to do with all aspects of modelling. The studio is very impressive and I look forward to working with Photo Mystique again.
