You are invited.
The Aperture Group is a "NEW" high level group of Photographers, Models, Make Up Artists, Stylists, Designers and any other people interested in photography. We came together to form an all purpose photographic network.
This organization is designed to gather people with a true interest in the photographic arts. The people we would like to include are photographers, models, make-up artists, stylists and designers who would like to network their individual abilities. We want to provide you the opportunity to showcase your talents to others in the industry. Whether you are seasoned in the industry or just getting started, this is a great chance for you to meet others with the same interest.
To accomplish this we would like to extend you the invitation to meet with us. We have planned our next meeting for Wednesday; January 20, 2009 starting at 7:00 PM at;

Our speaker at the January meeting will be Ray Lasky. Ray is a Photoshop and Lightroom expert and he will as well as an excellent photographer. This will be an educational experience for everyone, whether you be a photographer, model, mua, designer, or anything else.
We will be raffling off a free VIP membership to modelmayhem.com. This is a hundred dollar value.
Members attending the meetings will also receive discounts from Adorama, Victoria Jackson Makeup and In and Out Photo, a professional Laboratory. You must be present at the meetings to receive the monthly discount vouchers.

The April 7th meeting will have a basic photo shop workshop and a studio set up for photographer and models to have some impromptu shoots.

The March 10th meeting will have a lighting workshop for photographers and a modeling demonstration for models, with hints and tricks for posing.
I am pleased to announce the Dan Doyle, the lighting expert and the producer of a set of wonderful webinars has greed to present to us a mini workshop on lighting for head shots and beauty shots. We will also have on hand Amera Faraj who will be giving modeling hints.
