I usually have 2-3 self-assignments in the hopper, so if you are interested in working together let me know. I'm always looking for talented models. My self-assignment shoots are paid, as is most of my commercial work (sometimes the exception is non-profs and charity and the like....but it is still good PR.)
That said, I am a semi-pro. Which, to me, means I get all the fun stuff but none of the not fun stuff with being a photographer. I have a day-job (as a pilot), so I can spend more time feeding my creative shoots than I could if I was paying the bills solely with this. I have a lot of fun shooting, and am looking to work with people who also really enjoy this passion. If we don't enjoy the shoots and art we make, what's the point?
If you have a super cool idea you can always ask. Asking IS free. I also have been known to shoot at a steeply reduced price for fun projects.
I have shot everything from full composites to portfolios for large agencies. About the only thing I don't do is classic family style portraits. I leave that for the family photogs. Not my bag.
Need something new for your port? I can get you there. My prices for local models are very fair, as I like to promote the local talent. It's just good Karma.
I am happily married to a gorgeous creature (former model, before we met), and you can expect that she will be at most shoots working as my photographic assistant. I’m happy to work with all sexes, creeds and colors , but I am not here to date any of them.
