My wife and I have a little studio at the GF Art Center in West Midtown Atlanta. We have both been taking pictures for over 25 years but just recently made the transition from “hobbyists” to “photographers.” Two of our three children are in college now so this project affords us the opportunity to be creative while spending time together sharing an activity we both enjoy. Hopefully along the way, we will make new friends, hear a few interesting stories and create something amazing.
Our schedule is very flexible but Sunday afternoon seems to be the best day/time to shoot. Please contact us if you would like to work together.
Also, check out our Friends below. They helped us so much and all of them were fun, professional (responded to messages, showed up on time, etc...) and contributed to the photos.
BTW, the GF Art Center isn’t actually a goat farm. Many of the tenants call it “twelve acres of creative space.” Have you seen The Hunger Games? It’s a lot like that. In fact, a few scenes from the upcoming sequel (Nov, 2013) were filmed there last summer. Built in the 1800’s, there are quite a few crumbling brick buildings, lots of busted glass, old rusty factory machinery, dust, dirt, nails, spiderwebs, etc… It’s awesome!

Photographers: I believe they charge $85/hr to use the property. (That amount may have changed) You have to check in at the coffee shop, sign a waiver, pay and get an armband so the residents don't hassle you.
